Garden buildings
Can you build a custom size?
Yes. Everything is made to order, so we can build to your measurements, add windows or move the doors. Send us your sizes for a free quote.
Do you fit garden sheds?
Not at the moment. Garden sheds are delivered as complete flat-pack kits with all fixings, screws, nails and 45 kg roof felt. Summerhouses, saunas and other made-to-order buildings are delivered and fitted by our own team.
What timber do you use?
Pressure-treated timber only, for the framing, cladding and floor. Walls are 12 mm (finished size) tongue and groove shiplap as standard, or 19 mm loglap as an upgrade, on strong framing with extra supports in the walls and doors.
Do I need a base?
Every building needs a firm, level base: concrete, slabs or a treated timber frame. We can supply a timber base frame and tell you what size base you need.
How long does it take?
It depends on the size and the time of year. We will give you a build date with your quote.
Do I need planning permission?
Most garden buildings do not, as long as they meet the permitted development rules for size, height and position. If you are unsure, check with your local council before ordering. We are happy to help with measurements.
How is the price on the website worked out?
Garden sheds have fixed prices including VAT: pick the size and options and order online. For summerhouses and other buildings the configurator shows an estimate including VAT, and your final, fixed price comes with your free quote after we have checked your garden and access.
Timber, delivery and ordering
How do I pay for an online order?
Pay by card at checkout, or choose bank transfer and we email you an invoice to pay. We then contact you to agree the delivery or collection day.
Can I collect from the yard?
Yes. Our yard is at Unit 6, Holme-on-Spalding-Moor Industrial Estate, YO43 4BB, open Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm, and at weekends by appointment. Please call ahead to check stock.
Do you deliver timber?
Yes. The price depends on the distance from our yard at YO43 4BB: enter your postcode on a timber product, in your basket or on our delivery page to see it. For deliveries over 25 miles the minimum order is £180. We contact you after you order to agree the day; most orders arrive within 5 to 10 working days.
Do you do trade prices?
Yes, for larger quantities. Message us with what you need.
Are your prices including VAT?
Yes. All prices on this website include VAT at 20%.
