Terms of sale
The terms that apply when you order from K&K Joinery.
Last updated: October 2026.
1. Who we are
K&K Joinery Timber Merchants, Unit 6, Holme-on-Spalding-Moor Industrial Estate, YO43 4BB, United Kingdom. VAT registration number 371656873. Phone 07436 185870, email kkjoinerysheds@gmail.com.
2. Ordering
Timber, materials, garden sheds, potting sheds, summerhouses, gazebos and ice baths can be ordered and paid for on this website. You can pay by card when you place your order, or choose to pay by bank transfer: we email you an invoice, and your order is confirmed when the payment reaches us. If you buy for a company, the invoice is made out to the company you name at checkout. We do not need to call you to confirm an order; we contact you only to agree the delivery or collection day.
Saunas and other made-to-order buildings are sold by quotation. Prices and estimates shown for them on the website are a guide; the price in your written quote is the price you pay once you accept it.
3. Prices and payment
All prices include VAT at 20%. Delivery of garden sheds, summerhouses and gazebos within 80 miles of YO43 4BB, and of ice baths within 100 miles, is included in the price; the delivery charge for timber depends on the distance from our yard and is shown before you pay. For made-to-order buildings we may ask for a deposit when you accept the quote, with the balance due on completion, as set out in your quote.
4. Delivery, collection and fitting
We agree a delivery, collection or fitting date with you. Garden sheds and timber summerhouses are delivered as flat-pack kits and are not fitted by us; summerhouses with uPVC doors and windows are delivered and installed. For fitted buildings, you are responsible for providing a suitable, level base and clear access, unless we have agreed to supply the base.
5. Your right to cancel
If you order standard stock items online you may cancel within 14 days of receiving them, as explained in our returns policy. Made-to-order buildings and items made to your specification cannot be cancelled once we have started making them, as permitted by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
6. Faulty goods
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. If anything is faulty or not as described, contact us and we will put it right.
7. Timber is a natural material
Knots, grain, colour variation and small splits are natural in pressure-treated timber and are not faults. Treated timber may weep or change colour as it weathers.
8. Liability
We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
